My first day of campaign!

Hi guys, before I tell my story about my first day of campaigning, I’d like to tell you about ng political party..

USAP- Union of students for Action of Progress, I’ve been a part of this party since grade 6 and I have to admit that I really had fun, I really felt as if it was my family and everyne was brothers and sisters, together me make platforms for the betterment of our Alma matter…

Well, here’s our “USAP Speech”, a speech made by our “founder” or should we say that it could also be called the motive of USAP: “For the past years, SC elections have been characterized by candidates winning because of tradition. The primary reason why we are here is that we know and believe that Paconians deserve to have a better government. One that is not based on traditions nor customs but one that is based on competency, leadership and values of the persons who can make difference. Elections come and go but the problem that really affects the studentry remain . Today we are again to excercise our rights, the right to choose the people who will lead us. If we really want to make the best out of the elections, then we must participate and choose the best people. Is it late to make the difference? NO! . . . Because we make the difference!”. Well gladly we were not going to recite it to every classroom but on the other hand, our motto is: ” We are not campaigning for ourselves, but we are campaigning for you. A seat in the student council for us is a seat in the student council for you.”

Well, after months and weeks of practices, it’s actually the time for our campaign, starting this February 2, 2009. Well, I should say I was very excited and proud to run for treasurer under the party of USAP. I came to school showing the symbol of our group, a sweet smile! Well, To tel the truth, my throat hurts, and so does my feet after our first day, but I should say it was quite an experience. I experienced to laugh with my schoolmates, I experienced to be laughed on, and I experienced to laugh about them. Haha… but not in a mean sort of way ^^.

I even experienced to be disrespected and I didn’t even expected the first one from a girls department, but anyways the rest of the day was good enough.

Another great experience was bonding with the other parties inside our room! Hahaha… competition is tight but we also have to rely on each other, I mean, Almost all of us there were friends, we started laughing and playing games with each other.

Hopefully we’ll be able to achieve more tomorrow, hopefully I’ll win but I don’t expect to much anyways, I’m just do this because I know in myself that I want to help, even though I won’t be a part of SCB.

Well, time to sleep! More power! Hope tomorrow would be another day to remember ^_^
